My SA explained to me all the way back when the GT4 was first announced that some colors would not be available in the initial production run. In fact, he told there were only a few colors that would be available and most of them were non-metallic. I initially chose sapphire blue and that's when he told me I would have to wait. I changed my order to white and now I'm looking at an August completion date.

Dang! This really stinks. I was really looking forward to Carrara white metallic! I feel bad for those that ordered SBM as well. I haven't heard anything from my advisor yet.

I wish they'd go back to aqua blue metallic. If PTS is available (and if I ever get an allocation), I may go with ABM.

Me too - I like it better than Sapphire. Some other really nice blues in the former catalog too...

That's my color choice as a matter of fact,I don't dig the rest much.
Porsche wouldn't be so retarded to announce a standard color and then remove it.

Not an Aprils Fools Joke!

Just got off phone with dealer and they spoke with Porsche NA rep and scheduler for orders - No orders will be accepted for Sapphire Blue for "any" Porsche after 3-28-15 - the color has been - discontinued!

So someone is about to get their day made as I passed on my allocation for a June/July build until PTS is available - so the dealer will be calling next person on their list to spec a car today!

I suggest that Porsche cancels all colors for the GT4 and just deliver them in primer.

Agreed. I always felt like Sapphire was a step down from Aqua.
