GT4 as DD

Thanks for the info. How does the padding compared to the spyder/cayman R seats.
#32
I believe they are comparable. The LWBS are firm and supportive. They are not plush. Because they are fairly deep it is a little more difficult to slide out of the seat when leaving the car. It's a very small price to pay for the increased support you get on the track.

I've got zero kids, and 99.8765309% of the time I'm in my car by myself. I do love myself and think highly of myself, so perhaps I'm being macho to impress myself. Who knows? Maybe I'll ask myself on a date some day and will try to impress myself with my love of a stiff suspension.

I really don't understand the macho comment. I enjoy a stiff suspension, and I will daily drive my future GT4. I use a stiff suspension currently, and it's not a big deal. I don't do it for performance, I do it because I simply like the feedback you get from the road. I think it's fun. I've had passengers that have commented that it's uncomfortable or a rough ride, and so for them I immediately put it in comfort mode. When they exit the car it goes right back.

This, here, is my biggest fear. Wondering how long I can go without scraping. 5 minutes? 5 miles? *shrug* we shall see. Hoping someone develops an axle lift somewhere in the future.

I don't see anything wrong with DD this car. One just have to come to terms that
You may need a new front lip/bumper at some point
Otherwise I don't see a problem! Man enough for stiff suspension... Only if your
Back can hold up to the Jarring!

Any idea if height will be as easy to adjust as the anti roll bars? It looked as if it would be trivial to modify the bars.

Not a chance. You need to take the weight off each wheel in turn, make your adjustment (using a special tool), lower, check ride height and repeat as necessary. For best results, you should corner weight at the same time and you'll need an alignment once you're finished. It's not something you can easily do before and after track days.
