Its all like a big (painful) tease since for so many of us this car is not going to be 'buy-able'. Inadequate availability... I should start a thread asking people what they are going to get since they can't get a GT4! LOL

Its very interesting how different it sounds from the GTS. Not as full of pops and burbles. Maybe a bit more guttural and serious sounding. I like it, and am now even more mad that I can't buy one! LOL

Here we go... this sums the heartbreak Porsche has saddled me with! (go to 1:19)

Perhaps this has been discussed elsewhere and I missed it, but one of the things I noticed in the video above (@ ~7:00) is that the redline looks to be 7,600:

Interesting as everything I've read has been speaking of 7,800RPM.

No. All Porsches with the 7800 rpm redline have a 7600 rpm redline on the tach. God knows why.

The same way Porsche has the redline for the new 991 GT3 RS at 9K in this launch video, when everyone knows that the redline will be at 8800 RPM :

Good point! So its a tachometer typo?

I guess I'll just have to buy a GT4 and see if they got it right. Oh wait a minute...
