Nice analysis here CAlexio
-Red, especially carmine, lends a super car look to the car.. Ties in tail lights and red calipers beautifully.
-yellow is very exotic.. Great for a weekend car and sense of occasion... Yellow requires pccb though.
-silver shows off the creases, and is very classic Porsche.. Lends some 911 gravitas to the cayman but can be a little weak and lacking excitement... Go gt silver If you go silver.. It's gives silver some hair on its chest.
-white is pure race car, shows off all the black parts like headlights, Curves show up rather than creases and also lends an exotic look to it... But ****... White?
-sapphire blue is quasi-pts.. But just fails to excite me. It's an uncommitted color, too conventional.
-black is sinister.. And in pics doesn't look as good as in reality.. Really hunkers the car down and makes it look like a weapon.. You lose some detail and you have to keep t obsessively clean. Go jet black, it gives shadows, and it's what regular black wishes it could be.
-DBM is beautiful in the right light.. But a bit too "classy" for a rebel like this.. Probably more a 911 targa color.
-I'm torn between
YELLOW: full launch vehicle yellow with pccb and black rims.
BLACK; jet black with steel rotors and red accents. gotta keep it clean but also thinking of adding red accents like red painted wheels and wing tips aftermarket
WHITE: never owned a white car... I don't have a good place to wash one.. This could be an easy way to keep it looking decent. Would also go aftermarket painted red wheels and wing tips and maybe mirrors on this.
This is tough tough tough.

At the dealership I am hoping to get a GT4 from, there was one color that stood out from all the 911, Macan, Cayenne , Caymans, etc.. and that was Sapphire Blue (at least to me). Yes, many might go with the Sapphire Blue on the GT4, but the car is going to be extremely rare on the streets anyways (the track maybe a different story).
I have lived in California (Bay Area), Maryland (Bethesda), Virginia (Tysons Corner), North New Jersey, and Philly, and I have seen Sapphire Blue on the street exactly ONCE on a Porsche. A GT3 from what I remember.
...And it was stunning in the sunlight. If you have only seen it in pictures, it doesn't do it justice...not even close I feel. Honestly, this car will look great in any color! The Cayman is one of those rare cars that can get away with any color due to its lines.

i went black on black... going for that "weapon" look you mentioned but with all the yellow accents (stitching and calipers) so it'll add some zing to it
i think yellow is too much (even for a wknd car). but white and gt-silver really look absolutely fantastic..

I do like the blue that would be my third choice, but I would really freak out for Plum Crazy

I did this on my company vehicle and with the black base color the inside door transition is never a bother, nor do I even notice it being different or out of whack at all. I'll try to post a pic that shows how tidy the inside/ wrapped edge of material can be done by the right installer. I think a base color other than black would be too noticeable.
Ther are a LOT of wrap colors so this decision could take awhile.... Or maybe today's color (back to Agate again) will be best... Ugh.

I love agate grey...
I also love the platinum wheels..
I think they look too similar together, giving a monochromatic look that i do not appreciate (personal taste). I considered black wheels w agate but from several reports on here, the satin black doesn't sound like what is pictured on the GTS models (double coated black vs satin black)...
I'm trying really hard not to screw this car up guys...
I'm drawn to the carmine red pics on line, its my #1 choice...
