I'm in for the LWB's, but the 380mm brakes are already overkill and sportchrono is gonna be standard (just track app version is optional, I think - I'll use Harry's Laptimer instead for free). No need to spend much over $90k (unless getting PTS).

I agree. I think AP was calling the Lower Control Arms wishbones, which was a little confusing. But the rear does get GT3 PASM, adjustable swaybars, adjustable LCA's, and adjustable height coilovers (for corner-balance).

Yeah I was thinking they wouldn't redesign the rear suspension just for the GT4 considering they had limited time for this project in the first place. I guess when he said "upright" he meant the strut/shock rather than an upper wishbone since he previously said the "uprights" were adjustable for height so you could corner balance, etc. Oh well, wishful thinking

I have an 07 Cayman S that's one of my favorite cars of all time with hardly any miles on it because it's at my vacation home in the mountains. I was perfectly happy with it until I saw this.

Obviously we'll have to wait for more info, but it looks like a really amazing car. I love the fact that it's only manual.

I just ordered mine this morning instead of a GTS.

Price is $84,600 plus $995 delivery

Lightweight bucket seats are $4730

There is also a CLUBSPORT roll bar option but no pricing yet and dealer is not sure what is factory installed and what is dealer installed.

I haven't heard anything about the "clubsport" option for the US... that is something that typically is sold in Europe and would have to be special ordered through the parts department.

Whatever makes you happy. I don't like carbon brakes or a useless track app. And need seats that mount low. Especially in a cayman. So for me 85k + delivery charge and an aftermarket roll bar. dde09 But I think it needs an upgraded gear box so that will be expensive for me. I've heard BGB Motorsport makes some good stuff for cayman.

Please read the thread about the track app in the 991gt3 forum before you order it.

I also got on the list this morning, have always wanted to get back into a fun nimble MT Porsche and this hits the mark. Will look great next to the V12

Want one of these so bad...

Anyone know how to fit 5 cars in a 2 car garage? I don't want to get rid of anything I already have...

Like in the GT3, the clubsport cayman option with be "Rest of World" only.

One would have to get the clubsport roll bar from germany or FVD etc..

Id say BGB will have roll bars on the stash to fit harnesses in these little rocketships..
