Default Lowered gt4, now steering feels loose/vague. Advice?

Hi all,

2 days ago I lowered the ride height 0.5" in the rear and 0.25" in front (ground-fender distance). It was easy enough and straightforward. In preparation I had also watched youtube videos on how folks have lowered their gt3/3/3rs etc to ensure I'm following the same fundamental concepts. This isn't my first time adjusting coilovers so I have confidence I did it correctly. After a short test-drive I discovered the car's steering felt 'off'. I brought the car back in the garage, took wheels off, and double checked all the collars. It was all tight. Today, while on a highway in Mexico, the steering is super off at speeds of 100mph. It's vague, it's loose, it reduces confidence, like the wheel kind of moves around on its own. There are no noises or clunks or anything. Prior to lowering the car, the steering felt sharp, tight, responsive, so something definitely happened just not sure what.

I'm thinking perhaps it needs an alignment, however I never disconnected the coilovers, top or bottom, to the car so I'm not sure how the alignment could have been affected. Do you have any ideas/suggestions/etc?

if you lower it, that will change the toe. Needs alignment.

Agreed. You need an alignment -- changing ride height changes toe.

Will need alignment as everyone else said. That said. I'm curious what kinda figures this gets when you just lower but didn't align
