Default GT4 Wheel Recomendations

Hey Guys,
This site has been great for information and I appreciate all input. So I figured I would ask who has changed their rims and what manufactures you all recommend? Looking for good quality.
Also if anyone has changed wheel size.
Want to change the look of the car a bit more.

thanks!

Default Apex

Saw a 718 gt4 over the weekend with 19” apex wheels that looked very nice. Owner was very happy with them. And they seem to be a popular brand for track events.

I'm a fan of apex as well... great quality and price... FWIW... don't do 19's with PCCB... it just doesn't work.
Also love BBS F1... but that's a whole nother league.

When fitting 19" wheels (instead of the stock 20") and keeping the same aspect ratio tyres, I assume that the overall gearing is reduced as the rolling diameter is lower.
Every tested seems to says that the GT4 is over geared from the factory but is fitting 19" wheels noticeable on the road? What is the rev drop @ a given speed (say 60mph) compared to standard gearing?

I have a set of forged magnesium Litespeed Racing RS5 (track spec) in production, will get some shots when I get them on the car. Other good choices are Apex, Forgeline, BC Forged, HRE. Most custom stuff has a huge wait time at the moment due to supply chain issues.

I've been running BC Forged monoblock wheels for over a year...very happy with them. I stayed with the 20" size for these wheels. For track days I use my stock GT4 wheels.

I love the BBS wheels!

Is the Supreme Forged SP1 your own custom wheel?

Maybe try Augment Wheels in Canada. They did me a motorsports style magnesium alloy wheelset in 19" - these are super light. 9x19 16lbs 10x19 16.5lbs. Designed to fit over 997 GT3 RS front calipers.

They make 20" too which would fit over GT4/3 brakes. cad 1800 each. here they are in the wet at silverstone. performing beautifully ! I am having a hard time of it.....
