^^^ Gaffer's tape. I added it when I bought my car new in '15 and it lasted until last year. Tape got dirty, so I peeled it off and applied new. Looks great.

This was what was recommended to me and I used. Just cut it to the correct width and wrap it around the steering wheel. I'm very pleased with the results.

This is the kind of gaffer's tape you want for a stripe on an Alcantara wheel:
It's just about the right width, comes in many colors, leaves no adhesive residue, and has a fabric-like texture that blends well with the Alcantara.
Most real racecars just use tape anyway...

When I clicked the link, Amazon told me “You last purchased this July 17, 2017.” I did it once and it’s still on there and I have no need to do it again, even though it’s incredibly easy.

Painters tape for the edges and then touch up paint for the alcantara steering wheel fabric. Looks factory, 2 years now & no issues.

Just order a roll in orange. Thanks guys the yellow stripe bugs me on the lava orange car. The stripe should be configurable IMHO.
