#15....Bingo, somebody to answer a simple question with a simple answer, if I cannot, OK I have a 1st class Porsche tech with a race shop available. Sure beats the self appointed "Hans Stuck" above insisting on answering the ? I didn't ask. I have a full time Porsche tech with a race stop handy so not a huge deal.
At the risk of digging this hole deeper, anybody run any of the !/2 stree/occasional track type setups ? I doubt I want more than 2deg camber with mostly street as well as probably full soft/full hard on the bars ?
Hans....feel free to ignore.
I'd say take a look at the track wiki thread. I recall there were a range of set ups in there. The rear tends to be a problem on many cars. Mine could not achieve factory spec for rear camber and toe with oem parts. I needed rear toe control arms and shims to get to - 2 camber and some toe in. I had about -2.5 front camber and 0 toe. That was fine for the street. If you can get -1.5 camber in rear with stock parts I'd say just set about -2 camber in the front. You might need some shims to get there. Should be ok for occasional track use.

Thanks, Yep, everything I've seen seems to indicate you need shims and, likely, aftermarket control arms. -2.5 was OK ? I have had guys tell me probably don't want to go past -2 for a largely street driven car. Thanks again

I thought -2.5 front/ -2.0 rear camber was fine for road+ track. I was doing about 10 track days per year which was roughly 30% of the total mileage I put on the car.
