Crazy to think my close friend bought a 22,000-mile 981 Spyder from an Arizona Ferrari dealer in April 2019 for $70,000 even. Sort of at the nadir of 981 pricing pre-pandemic.

Yes, it's very hard to value things when you saw the numbers pre-covid. I usually see 2016 gt4s in the $95-$105k range now. Still about sticker price!

Hopefully the previous owner (florida) can shed some light about how the car was used and what the damage on the carfax is all about. So weird that it was purchased here and has apparently sat for 3 years without being driven.

I'm not active on the forum, here are some photos of the damage. I loved that car if I was in the market I’ll buy it, I used the car daily for 4 1/2 years did probably about 14 track days and many trips to the smoky mountains. The car had over revs from 1 to 6 happen early in my ownership
that what’s something that was always on my mind and the reason I sold the car and bought a 718 Spyder which lasted about 10 months sold it and bought another 981 GT4.

hopefully the dealer will allow for PPI. Since the car was barely driven in the past 3/12 years
good luck. The car is back for sale in Chicago

oh wow, thanks for the pics and the info. I have a 991.1, so not in the market, but i have a keen interest on porsche values. Your old car caught my eye being local to me for a time. Money shift on the track??

Bummer it might not be available, I would definitely have grabbed it at the price, but with a PPI first
