I would have thought a race exhaust would lead to louder/raspier sound, but in that clip it sounds more 'refined'. Are they any more clips of this particular setup (or others with Rick's headers + Soul's race exhaust)?
yes my car

will try and find other clips

Looking forward to joining the party! After my 981 GT4 apparently spun a bearing at the track recently, I immediately contacted Rick, and will be shipping the car out to him as soon as possible!

Greetings fellow stroker aces, i'm now the 2nd owner of @BealeAss ' gorgeous 981 GT4 and getting my feet wet on some mountain back roads with the platform learning how utilize its capabilities.

As i'm getting into the platform and learning its ways, i've developed a few questions which i'm hoping other owners might be able to answer:
  • Is there any adjustment to when the clutch picks up and how linearly or progressively?
    • Do multi-plate options with longer/linear feel exist known to work for these modified vehicles if not?
    • Finding human-matched downshifts rather tricky with pedal positions as are and the clutch engaging very quickly at the middle of pedal travel vs linearly through it or progressively through a reasonable length of its travel (sport mode matches are great though).
  • Are there any PDLS LED lights for 2016 981s?
  • Has anyone had any luck with dialing in GT3 or similar steering programs to make the feedback a bit more representative of what's going on in the front?
    • Finding that turn-in resistance is a bit washed out until the rear decides to really get in the game and "come into focus" a bit abruptly once the whole chassis is working
    • The same tech in my 991 and presumably '19 TTRS is a bit more on-point with "lying to me believably" which helps cornering confidence (suspension of disbelief and all that)
@Rick DeMan and @BealeAss for making this great setup - much more on-point than anything Porsche dared do with the platform.

Well, I hit 115k on my 2013 C4S and decided it was time to give her an upgrade. Called Rick and will be dropping her off next week. So excited!

Default Can someone tell me what this build is lacking or what upgrades can be done?

Can someone tell me what this build is lacking or what upgrades can be done? Also, I see other builds around $60k so I’m wondering why it’s almost half off.

Main things it's missing that many people do are shortened gearing and upgraded LSD.

I reached out to deman via phone and email, just waiting for a reply from them. Do you know the current cost of these upgrades?

The Clubsport seems to have a bit more torque but your driving skills are formidable, as always!
