Default WTB: Sapphire GT4 w/ PCCBs & (maybe) LWBs

Hi,all-

Yes, I realize there's a specific section for this, but I guess I'm too much of a newby to post this in the classified section.

Looking around for one of these. This is the exact spec I'm looking for below (but not looking to spend 718 GT4 money for one)... lol

https://mart.pca.org/ads/32090

There are a few out there that I've seen, 2 that are too spendy for me & 1 that has too many miles. Ideally something w/ mi less than 30k & a number in the price that starts w/an '8' I am pretty particular w/ my cars, so looking for something in really nice shape. Mods are okay, as long as stock parts are included. Track time is also acceptable, or I'd be a hypocrite, as I'm an (occasional) PCA instructor & avid AutoX'er--but not wanting something rode hard & put up wet.

I'm also looking at GT3s is similar config, but not certain that price point can get past the household CFO...lol

Thanks in advance & pls let me know what's out there, if anyone knows of one, or may be considering selling.

George B.

Are PCCBs a must? There's this one on the classified section with steels. It's a good deal, IMO—with a $77.5k asking it's priced more in line with cars that have 25-30,000 miles on the clock. Although this one also just recently went "pending sale" at $76k asking with nearly 12,000 less miles, so there might be room to negotiate here.

If you're really dead set on the PCCBs you could bank some pennies over time for a conversion kit (or source a set used, if you're comfortable with that) and use the steels in the meantime. The steel Girodisc or Brembo aftermarket options are also great. I switched my standard rotors over to the Girodiscs with Ferodo DS2500 pads and have been really happy with them. Just a thought.

Alternatively—if you're ok with a color change and feeling lucky at bidding—there's a 6k mile Guards Red GT4 up on BaT right now: https://bringatrailer.com/listing/20...cayman-gt4-50/

There are 2 blue gt4 in the classified section asking in the $70’s. If you’re willing to convert the steel rotors to ceramics that might be worth looking into.

You need to join Rennlist to post in classified. It has nothing to do with being too new.
Good luck in your search. Plenty to choose from.

I have a tentative deal with a Rennlister that PM’d me.

Will update thread once a final decision has been made.

Thanks, all...
