Wondering if anyone has a set of HRE P40 wheels in 19” size that is used on track? Can’t find any info here or on 6SpeedOnline.

My set is in exactly the same spec as what BBS offers on CH-Rs 19x8.5 ET51 fronts and 19X10 ET38 rears. Came off of a Cayman R. Considering using them as my dedicated track wheel set, but radial clearance to brake calipers, especially to rear ones, looks really tight – maybe 1/8” or even less. Lateral clearance seems to be OK. Haven’t run filler gauges to get exact numbers.

Any insight is appreciated.

Not sure about clearance of calipers, rear suspension components, etc., but I would be concerned about running that narrow of a rear wheel--what width tire did you plan on using? You don't want too narrow of a wheel for a given tire width.

Rear rim width is the same as on 19" BBS and OZ - 19x10. Most likely 285 tire width.
