It's a long story but I gave my wing to my friend to run as his didn't come right on time. Plus I wanted to see how the 981 chassis does without any aero.

 

 

Years ago I took the wing off of an exiige S that I had, running 13 CW@ BW It’s supposedly made just 100 pounds of downforce . I figured what difference would that make?? Taking the fast left-hander before Magic Mountain at about 107 miles an hour the car just lifted and had a huge spin . Ended up against the wall . The body came out OK but I’ve banged up some of the underbody panels. The car was filled with dirt never really got it all out even after a couple years. I’ve learned my lesson about aero. Carl

 

These three phrases don't go together. How on earth did you manage to put a Lotus into the wall without the body being fragged? Sounds like a one-in-a-million chance.
