We have a front and side splitter design for the GT4; nothing for the Base/S/GTS yet though. We are working on bringing the GT4 unit to production right now.

I am almost certain it is the Vorsteiner, but there is a small chance it might be the APR.

Please share. Thanks in advance, and great work VERUS!
We personally do not consider that piece a diffuser; at least a functional diffuser as it is not diffusing the air at all. Sorry, it is just a small distinction we attempt to make when we can. That being said it is an APR .

Thank you! If you know anyone in Indianapolis or around Indiana we would love to get the diffuser test fit on more models. We do not see an issue with this fitting other 981 chassis.

Thank you! It is quite sturdy as well.

Yessir, we actually finished the 987 series stuff before the GT4. Here is a link to the thread: https://rennlist.com/forums/987-981-...d-987-2-a.html

We had a recent 981 customer install our rear diffuser and flat underbody panel on his 981 Cayman S. The rear diffuser fit without an issue; however, the flat underbody panel did not have the holes in the subframe that the GT4 does. He was able to mark the holes in his subframe and install the rivet nuts similar to our GT4 install instructions. The outside holes were left off as nothing is present there on the Cayman. He also felt the underbody panel was more than rigid enough as is.

Man this looks good. Just to confirm this doesn't work with the GT3 muffler conversion?

Thank you! To my knowledge, it does not. It is not bracket related, but more height related. I believe the GT3 muffler (for sure the unit by Dundon Motorsports, not sure if there are other GT3 muffler conversions?) sits lower than most GT4 exhausts as well as the OE GT4 exhaust.

I am personally not well versed in exhaust modifications for the GT4; so, if there are other GT3 muffler conversions besides Dundon's, it is quite possible the diffuser may work with them if the muffler does not hang as low. Feel free to shoot us an e-mail with some pictures and we can generally help judge if a part will fit off some rough images. We can also help show you, within CAD, how it sits and probably come to a good conclusion on fitment.

It's the height of the GT3 Muffler that poses the issue, the stock GT4 muffler is far thinner...

I would really like to add the diffuser to my GTS, but concerned the car would be out of balance without a splitter and dive planes. Any plans to offer these?

We do not currently have any plans for GTS development; but, that could change in the future.

A rear diffuser would unlikely cause the car to be un-balanced. While a rear diffuser does create downforce, it is not as significant an impact as a rear wing. We have also noticed on multiple rear diffusers, that when designed properly, it can increase front end downforce production as well. I cannot say definitively that is what would happen on a GTS but we have seen this happen quite often. If you think of the underbody as a whole, you can potentially understand that improving flow from the rear can improve flow in the front of the car as well.

The big benefit with a rear diffuser is you get the drag reduction as well as the bump in downforce. It is not often we get to see higher corner speeds as well as higher front straight speeds, but the rear diffuser delivers both.

Do you happen to have measurements on how much lower this makes the stock rear end?
I have a GT4 front end on my base cayman with an APR front splitter, and I have no idea if it's just me but the rear end feels quite unsettled at high cornering speeds. People have told me that it may be due to not having the GT4 wing in the rear, hoping that this rear diffuser will help my issue!
