looks fantastic Rick, looking forward to more details. How do you perceive the durability of this engine? Any estimates as to hours on the motor before needing a rebuild? Do I dare ask the cost of this beauty?

With a lot of new GT4 owners and factory warranties starting to expire I bet we're going to see a lot of fast 981 GT4s sneaking up on GT3s at the track

FWIW, Deman built my 4L X51 over a year ago and I have over 8k miles and 6-7 track days on it with zero issues. It even burns less (no) oil compared to stock. They hosted a GT4 meet at the shop all the way back in late 2015 and already had a 4L GT4 running back then so this isn't their first rodeo. I'm guessing the stroke is the same as the 4l so same piston speeds, rod ratios, etc that have been running reliably for years now in the 4L builds should carry over.

Christmas just got a whole lot more exciting!

Wow I am majorly impressed.

Sorry to ask this but I assume you are running this thru a PDK transmission.

I have a new to me GT4 and I have seen that the manual box is only good fo 420Nm.

Do these amazing mods increase the risk of failure?

My buddy and I were just up to visit Rick and he showed us the numbers and the car. Very impressive and a true bucket list car. GT3RS in a GT4. Looking forward to seeing one on the track. Rick thank you for your time. I think Steve really needs that #29 car.

Yes, any 9A1 engine 3.8L 911 (2009-2016) or GT4 can be converted to this engine package.

Yes, start with the bigger ones and you might consider a bank as well

Congrats on the GT4! I've seen those ratings as well, we've been running our most powerful 4.0L with a manual trans on the track in PCA racing (not DE) for 3 seasons now without a single failure. I would say there should be no issues.

I saw the price was $28,500 on your instagram. Does that include labor Rick?
