Yeah, as soon as an ad says 'Call for Price', I lose whatever interest I had in a car.

They probably want some unrealistic price for it. It’s a nice spec but I can’t foresee someone wanting to pay sticker when the new model will be out in 6 months or so. I could be wrong however - it only takes one buyer that has to have it.

On top of that, I believe it's a very high MSRP, over $120k, which isn't easy regardless of other factors, i.e. low miles, etc.

Not likely that anyone showing up to buy a GT4 today will be able to get the new car without paying a significant ADM. hard to cross shop the 981 and the new car.

If you know Sloan you know they specialize in "market maker" cars, cars that have such low miles and desirable spec that there simply are no comps, and then they attempt to make the market for that rare car. It seems to work pretty well when they have a 1200-mile 993 Turbo S or a 3000-mile 964 Turbo 3.6 S Flachbau. I don't know about a 3-year-old GT4 though; too many cars with very nearly that low of mileage and too many made in the first place. 10 years from now this looks like a typical Sloan car, if that makes sense. At a time when 20,000 is considered a low-miles GT4, Sloan will have one with 1000 or 164 miles.

Sloan is very reputable Porsche private dealer indeed . Lots of long time air-cooled collectors I know have bought minty fresh cars from them though the years. Before he passed away, the original Mr.Sloan was a true connoisseur .

Brett's a good guy, too.

So bubble wrap the car and wait ten years to get ....$130k. Doesn't seem like a great investment opportunity to me.

115 miles? Hasn’t had time to grenade its third gear yet.
In all seriousness, given that the third gear issue is a real possibility for all GT4s, I would be concerned about buying one with very low miles, out of warranty, and has not had this addressed.

Most likely the person who buys this GT4 won't be using it for track days or other rigorous exercise; plenty of other options for that. By the time a car gets bought from Sloan for a big premium over the market for similar cars with low but not crazy-low miles, it's probably being bought for a warehouse collection full of sub-1000 mile cars, and by a person who won't lose much sleep over having to rebuild a Porsche transmission on his own dime were that to happen.
