Americana Manhasset Concours Long Island
Went to the yearly Concours D'Elegance at the Americana Manhasset on Long Island last weekend. Similar to last year. As is typical, sometimes the cars in the back parking lot are more interesting than the cars actually entered in the concours. An exception is always whatever Jim Glickenhaus brings. He's a hero, driving priceless vintage Ferraris or supercars of his own creation from his home in Rye, NY, down over the Throgs Neck Bridge onto Long Island. A true enthusiast. This year it was his SCG 003S. Here's a video recap of the show for those who missed it. Video of the Max Hoffman Driven to America event held on the same day will follow soon.
