Default Ferodo DSUNO: The best brake pad you haven't yet tried, special introductory pricing!

Hello Gents,

By now many of you have tried the Ferodo DS1.11, and it has become one of the most popular pad compounds among GT4 owners. We continue to get great feedback on the DS1.11's longevity, disc-friendliness, and feel / modulation. We've had several customers ask for a bit more bite however, and that's precisely what Ferodo's DSUNO provides. The DSUNO remains relatively gentle on discs like the DS1.11, but takes the coefficient of friction (mu) a bit higher than the DS1.11. The DSUNO also has a torque curve that ramps up slightly with temperature, and won't require quite as much pedal pressure as you get deeper into a turn. You can see the difference in the shape of the mu curves in the graph below (green= DS1.11, red= DSUNO). Among our big brake kit customers, we're now seeing a fairly even split between DS1.11 and DSUNO users. One of these two compounds almost always gives the user the feel and performance they were seeking. Some like having to press a little harder with the DS1.11, while others like the ramping torque and lower pedal effort of the DSUNO.

For those of you currently using DS1.11, the switch to DSUNO will be simple and seamless. These two compounds share their core ingredients, so you won't need to completely scrub and re-bed your discs in preparation for the DSUNO. The DSUNO can run on the existing Ferodo pad transfer layer on your discs. A handful of hard stops to get the new pads seated should be enough to get you underway.

To lower the risk in giving the DSUNO a try, we're offering an introductory special on the GT4 front and rear applications. Until the end of July, DSUNO will be available at 20% off of its normal retail price. If you've thought about trying something new, now is a great time to get a fresh feel and save yourself a couple hundred dollars.

Front Ferodo DSUNO for 981 GT4= FCP4664ZB

We only have a few sets of DSUNO in stock in these shapes currently, but our friends in Italy are cooking us up another batch that we expect to see in a few weeks. Pre-orders will be filled in the order in which they arrive. Also note that Clark at Apex Performance will be stocking the DSUNO alongside his current inventory of DS1.11.

Thanks for your continued support with the Ferodo pads, and please let us know if you have any questions!

Are the pads for a GT4 and a 991.2 GT3 the same?
Thanks.

Hi Jeff.....I'm using the PFC11 and like the low pedal effort and initial bite. How do these compare? Do they squeal a lot when using on the street (dual use car)? Let me know as I think I may need a new F+R set soon.
