The October issue of Excellence reports that a 300+ mile PTS 981 Spyder in Mexico Blue with PCCB's, Burmeister, PDLS, etc., recently sold for $138 with a $118 MSRP.
If true, that's the highest price I've ever seen paid for a Spyder and there are a few Mexico Blue cars out there if I recall correctly - not just one-of-one.
Cool, so no way in hell that car is worth anywhere close to that asking price.
Not necessarily. People with money buy what they want when they want and pay what they want even if it bears little relation to the actual value. Look at artwork for example.
Something is worth every penny of what someone will pay for it. 😁

True but I don’t think there are enough Filipino nail salon owners willing to bid up the price of that car.
There are three paint to sample Mexico blue cars in the US. I luckily have one of them. It is not for sale.
Is the third one in CO? There is either a Riviera or Mexico one about a mile from I live. I spoke to the owner a couple of years ago but don’t recall which blue it is.
