Vlog of getting front windshield tinted
Hi team,
Wanted to share the Vlog my tint guy did on tinting my front windshield on my GT4. A little background-here in Florida its HOTT in the summer especially. My car sits in the garage-but in the event I take it out to work, or lunch, etc its in the sun. I have all of my cars front windshields tinted to help reduce the heat and UV rays from fading/cracking the dash. Usually I use Llumar Air80 tint (almost clear with a slight hint of blue) but that was not available for him to use this time. The tint used was very light (50% i believe) and you can barely tell its on there-hopefully the police wont give me a hard time (i have gotten a couple tickets for my front windshield being at 35% in the past)! I like a tinted windshield... except for when I'm wearing polarized sunglasses and the sky is full of halos and rainbows from the tint effect. I've been looking for a non-polarized film and I think it must not exist.

Its called Solar Plate and is a ceramic tint. Here is a description from their site:
