Looking at GT4 with PCCB and they telling me thickness of the rotors is 11mm. That doesn't sound right. Can anyone please help with that?
I know this brakes are very expensive so just trying to to check it out

A dealer needs to take the rotors off the car and weigh them. Thickness is not relevant to PCCB wear measurements. Search the forum for additional information and results from members' cars.

Can DME could be used to determent track use?

FWIW.. When I took delivery of my GT4, I had to do a state inspection.. If my memory is correct, front rotor thickness is 32mm and 28mm for the rear.

PCCBs are measured for wear by carbon density, not width. Weight is a side effect of wear but is not how wear is measured because there is no spec for the starting weight or worn out weight of each rotor. You need to go to a dealer and have them measure the carbon density of each rotor off the car. Each rotor has three read points, each read point has two specs, the reading when new and the minimum reading when worn. The measured reading against the min/max specs of the rotor's read point across all three read points determines how worn the rotor is.

The front rotors are 36mm thick new - if they ever get to 11mm, there will be a very serious issue (you would know without measuring).

They called me earlier and said we measured thickness of the pads not rotors. Crazy!!!!

Given the above, it's best if you get this car to a dealer for a full PPI including brake measurements and DME report.

I got DME report and it looks good. Pretty clean. BTW I'll ask them to get me a full report on the car and brakes
