4l + lower/same redline is my prediction cause gpf and emissions.

Yes, we still do! As an AP2 driver, I wish it retained the 9k redline! Still, S2000 is more fun to drive than the Spyder at low speeds and sheer joy of redlining through bottom three-four gears!
As for the 982 redline, someone already posted here (and, on Spyder thread) that he saw a Spyder dash on the production line with tach showing 8k! That is, starting at 8k. To me, it's a credible evidence of what to expect. Cleaning ladies' whispers could be a smoke screen. Trying to keep people talking up and excited!

I agree. You shouldn't decide either way until the official announcement. In fact, personally, I wouldn't let the 981 go until after I have had the 982 for a period of time. I want to be able to drive them back to back for a good period of time before deciding which one to keep.
It appears the regulatory requirements and uncertainty from number of variables make this particular powertrain conversation rife with speculations from all sorts of sources.
If the car has a 4.0L engine, it would pretty much have to come with a lower redline than the 3.8L, given that they aren't going to give the GT4 more than 425hp or so. Otherwise, it would feel very breathless up in the rev range.
So, since someone actually seen the tach showing 8k, it might be 3.8? I would rather have 8k over any engine size, with power peaking near the redline!
