Default CR GT4 for Sale and some Goodies

Okay.

The short story is my .2 GT3 will be here next month and was not expecting it until the summer. I know- it is a long story but not complaining.

So- originally my GT4 was headed to storage before the Thanksgiving Holiday, next month, but now she is not. I will probably end up trading her and grabbing the tax credit but figured I would post, first, to see if a Rennlister interested. I will shortly post the build but She has 6300 miles( no track and never left state). As a matter of fact, was never more than 60 miles from home which is probably embarrassing. She has neither seen rain nor snow. Carmine red with PCCBS, Buckets, Yellow stitching(I think only a couple in NA built like this). Build was ~$118,000 MSRP. If any one interested please PM.

I also have FVD Long Tube Sport headers(w/high flow Cats) and their Valveless Sport Exhaust available for sale. They have less than 4000 miles on them and the Headers are Swain coated and still look great. No cracks or discoloration on the coating. Car got an oil change today and was examined on the lift. If any one interested please PM with what you think they are worth. Those will probably come off in 2 weeks. Not shipping outside of US.

Car is located in Glenview, IL

No- got it from my Local Dealer. I passed on the GT4 twice with them and when I figured out the Automatic bored me it was too late for them to help me out. So I was fortunate to find an allocation at MSRP in Houston

Congrats on both the sale and the GT3. What is the "tax credit" with trading in?

Please tell me it was not PNH and, if it was, please tell me that you're a long time customer with them, as I'm a customer and approached them a long while back about an allocation as was told no.

The tax credit works like this in most states:

Purchase price of new car = $150K

Trade in value = $100k

Difference = $50k

You only pay the sales tax on the $50k.
