Default GT Racing European headers.

A little over two months ago I was looking for steel flares for my 70 911t rust bucket. I stumbled upon GT Racing. I noticed they made headers and saw long tube 981 headers.

http://www.gt-racing.com/porsche-cay...-part-981-134/

I called and asked for some numbers and data on the headers. Joel, the owner, never had a GT4 with these headers installed. We talked and came to an agreement. I will disclose that he gave me a discount to test these out. So here was my day yesterday...

Before headers:

After Headers:
Some numbers. Stock VS Headers without tune (map 0) and the runs were completed in 4th gear.
@3600 RPM 45tq and 31whp
@4900 RPM 50tq and 48whp
@6200 RPM 10tq and 11whp
@7300RPM 17tq and 18whp

The overall gains do not seem that much but the dynos below should speak for themselves. I'm now seeking a protune because I think there is more power to be had. The Cobb tune for aftermarket exhaust made less power.

This may be a noob question but isn't that car strapped in the wrong way? (and wheel blocks on the wrong side)

If the car 'catches' isn't it going forwards at a pretty rapid rate?

It was strapped down in the front, back, and underneath in both directions. I honestly have no idea.

Thoughts about sound. The car is terrifyingly loud with the PSE valves open. With the valves closed you can talk on the phone and listen to the radio comfortably. I haven't yet taken the car on a long enough drive to check for drone.

If that is Rear Wheel HP, and a good ballpark is 10% loss from wheel to engine output then you are looking very good.

Thank you for sharing

PS - look at the pull from 5000rpm, that is the fun zone

Sorry to revive an old thread but no info available on these headers anywhere. The gains look good, as does the price point. Anyone else have any first-hand experience or hear anything about these headers? Thanks!

If you are looking at Race Headers I've posted some Dundon ones in the market place. I am in London (England) and so you need to turn the 'United States' filter off.

I have an asking for USD3k but am quite flexible, I would like these on a GT4 asap.

Snowy

I hope this does not break rules listing is below.

I also have the over axle kit for GT3 exhaust that retails for USD2k (unused) and two oldish (c15k miles cats).
