Favorite Silver on the GT4?

GT Silver was always the more desired due to having more depth (with the ultimate being the 918 Liquid Metal paint job). I feel like Rhodium was always the meh choice as it looks like a plain, very light, flat color.
I think seeing RS in person on normal cars, also makes this color still seem boring. My previous Cayman S was Seal Grey which had many different hues depending on the light - I even saw purple iridescence.
With that being said, if you put RS on a special car, the paint somehow became much more special to my eye. As with most colors, simply swapping orange side markers for clear and adding some black trim bits seems to make colors pop with more contrast...but I remember being floored with how special a Rhodium 991.1 GT3 looked with a stealth Xpel wrap. Wow!

Not to pivot but I find it interesting just good every single color on the GT4 looks. With most cars there are the good colors and the bad ones, GT4 somehow makes every color looks yummy .. I've bounced back and forth between most of them.. I love this one, it may derail my plans to wait till next spring...

I chose GT Silver. I like RS but my original hope was to get a flat grey, so the bluish hue of RS didn't fit my intent. Turns out I am thrilled with the GT Silver. I like how it is nearly grey in flat light and really pops in a rich sliver in sunlight. Then in neutral light, it is like the car has been poured from pure metal with no added pigment. Love it!

I do not have a clear favorite. Really like GT Silver and a classic color choice but when you see Rhodium on the road certainly has more pop. It does draw your eyes towards it

GT Silver seems to be the paint of choice so far, not surprising though seeing how popular it is. Going to take the GT4 and the Cayman S out we have into the sunlight tomorrow weather permitting and get a better look at both side by side.
Very well said. I too have not seen a color on the GT4 look bad. In fact every time I see one in a different color I seem to change my favorite color on it. First Yellow, then GT Silver, then Sapphire Blue, then Guards Red, on and on and Rhodium Silver is the latest one. I almost feel I need to see them all in person at the same time to get the best feel for it all.
GT4 flash meet at AutoQuest?
Jimmy everywhere I look in the this forum I see you chiming in. Dare I say you just might just be the most well versed GT4 owner on here? lol.

GT Silver
I would think that RS is 'rare' on the GT4 simply because it wasn't popular. Given the choice, noting the ~$2500 additional cost, those that wanted a silver GT4 chose GT Silver.

Im sorry I think people chose "GT Silver" because it was on a GT car.
RH45 looks incredible on the GT4 but I may be a little biased!
I couldn't be happier with the color after coming from Arctic on my 997S.
And BTW I specifically looked for a silver when looking for my GT4 since any shade of silver is classic and always ages well on Pcars.

Color is very subjective - all that really matters is that you like it.
