Default Swan Neck +3"

Looks to be a solid product. What impact does the +3” riser have on the overall downforce balance of the car, particularly since the front splitter is not being revised? Presuming this has been tested on track at speed.

Per our CFD Simulation, the 3inch riser increases rear downforce about 1.7% comparing to original height. Plus, we have been testing our 3inch riser on our GT4RS Clubsport/ GT4RS Street Car on track/road for a while. FYI, we sold hundred of 3inch riser to GT4RS Street car, which is our best selling GT4RS product). Basically, the aero change of 3inch riser is very minor. The major benefit is to increase rear visibility.

Ok. I've ordered the 3" riser for my 2020 718 GT4 Clubsport. Will report back on fitment and overall impressions.

Buy with confidence from Kimbleli. True Professional

I recently bought 2 x GT4 RS Clubsport and both ran with extended uprights in their series.
Mainly for better rear vision, with the extra benefit of more downforce.

Above showcase is for a GT4RS street car before and after rised 3inchs. Can see the rear visibility change from photos. We are taking photos for our GT4RS Clubsport, will post soon.

Default +3" Riser Installed on 718 GT4 Clubsport

+3" Risers are installed on the stock CS wing. Noting:
1) Risers appear to be well designed and manufactured. Do not expect any stability or strength issues.
2) Install - use the stock / oem mounting brackets, not those included with the kit as those are intended for the SilverRocket wing.
3) Was successful in maintaining the same wing angle (2.1 deg.).
4) Visibility through the stock rear view mirror is much improved and now only limited by the roll cage and roll bar padding.
5) Possibility of increase of rear downforce is not yet known. I have an event later this month at Road America (first time), which should show if there is enough of an increase to result in a potential downforce unbalance between the front and rear. Will also compare at known tracks later this year (Road Atlanta, Sebring, etc.) to better know if any other impacts (top speed, etc.)

Overall, am pleased with the product and installation results at this point.

Hi PBRME, Thanks for sharing your thoughts and photos.

For those bracket included in our 718 GT4 wing risers doesn't fit your 718 GT4 installation problem, Here is why:
SR develops all SR brackets following the GT4RS Clubsport spec(Part Number: 9F2827453A WING SUPPORTLEFT & 9F2827454A WINGSUPPORT RIGHT), Which should be a direct replacement for GT4RS Clubsport. SR CS Wing is also being designed as a direct replacement for Porsche 718 GT4RS Clubsport Wing (Part Number: 9F28276776).

However, as you can see from below Porsche Motorsport Diagram. Despite 718 GT4 CS Wing(9F2827677A) & GT4RS CS Wing(9F2827677B) looks identical, in fact, Porsche made some very minor changes on the GT4RS CS wing. That makes the SR Bracket(or GT4RS CS OEM Bracket) doesn't work on a 718 GT4 CS Wing directly, which is your case, the original OEM 718 GT4 CS bracket(9F2827989 & 9F2827990), needs to be re-used.

You may sell those SR brackets(9F2827453A WING SUPPORTLEFT & 9F2827454A WINGSUPPORT RIGHT,) on Rennlist, which Porsche sell them at 318Euro/set. Some GT4RS CS owners may need them.

718 GT4 Clubsport VS 718 GT4RS Clubsport Rear Wing& Support & Bracket.

For your concern regarding the Aero Impact brought by 3inch rised, our CFD analysis shows the 3inch raised wing only add <2% rear downforce at same AOA angle. We also tested the 3inch riser in our GT4RS Clubsport and GT4RS Street car on Shanghai F1 Track, which has a 1,175Meters long straight and high speed turn. The Aero Balance is almost unchanged comparing to before the 3inch raised.

Let me know if you have any questions and suggestions. Thanks so much choosing SilverRocket products for your lovely 718 GT4 CS.

-Alex

Ditto to PBMRE remarks to all...Very easy substitution. Visibilty is even more enhanced by installing a Goodyear Wide Angle 17IN reaR VIEW MIRROR that clips on perfectly over the factory mirror. 2 Thumbs Up!!!

I am currently racing a 718 club sport.

Can you tell me how rear down force difference will there be over the stock 718 GT4 rear wing?

our CFD data shows <2% downforce increase on rear, on track testing proves the AoA remains the same before/after rised.

Is your rear wing a RS or CS wing? I believe there is a good amount of difference between the two.
