My new to me 981 CS came with a Motec C125 dash and Aim SmartyCam GP HD 2.2 -- the setup used in Trophy West and PCA, I believe.

It looks like the Aim camera only has access to the information below via the C125.

I'd like to add water temp, oil temp, oil pressure and steering wheel angle to my video overlays.

Has anyone had success increasing the channels available from the Motec dashlogger to the Aim SmartyCam?

My backup plan is to rewire the SmartyCam directly to the car CANbus.

I have emails into Joe Hullett but thought someone may have already tried this.

Just heard back from Joe Hullett. He said that "the base MoTeC to SmartyCam CAN stream was locked as per PCA rules from back then". I'm reaching out to Chris Brown since he probably set this car up a few years ago and hopefully he can provide an unlocked SmartyCam stream. Will report back...
