981 CS Battery Type -- H5 and H6
Posting this just in case it's useful for others.
The battery in my newly acquired 981 CS was a little weak. It was 000-915-105-DE. I'm pretty sure it was sourced/installed before the car was shipped to the US around 2020. It appears to have been an H5 size, flooded battery.
I replaced it with an H6 AGM battery which fits the retention frame perfectly.
A larger battery (e.g., H7, H8) will NOT fit in the stock frame.
