My PET for the 981 CS shows the dual mass flywheel is part 981 114 020 00, which I believe is a street car part.
My PET for the 718 CS shows the dual mass flywheel is part 982 105 264 B.
Is the 982 flywheel an upgrade over the 981 flywheel?
If it is an improvement (at least in service life), is its form, fit and function appropriate for the 981CS?

You probably need to call PMNA. I do know the 718 trans is now specified as the replacement for the 981. So it should at least be compatible.

I have replaced the flywheel on two 981 Clubsports now. I ordered them both from my local Porsche dealer (they match lowest online prices so that is convenient). The interesting thing is that even though it is a standard Porsche part number, the ones I received had a "Motorports" sticker and QR code on them. As 38D pointed out, PMNA sent out a technical update that stated you can use the 718 Clubsport PDK in a 981 Clubsport. That makes me think the different flywheels would be interchangeable, but I would be interested to hear what PMNA says is the difference, if any.

My local dealer can supply the 981 flywheel.

98111402000 is not in stock and PMNA, but PCNA shows stock.

My estimated MSRP for this part is $1,483.49 each.

This is only an estimated price because PMNA has never received this part and I can only give a rough estimate of the price from the information I have.

I cannot advise if the 981 and 718 flywheels are interchangeable.

I can only advise for what is printed in the parts catalogue.
