Default Lower control arm and heim joints

I sent me car in for a regular alignment and the shop let me know the left lower control arm and tie rod rod end as well as the heim joints in the rear needed replaced. The car has 6000 miles on it. Is this normal were and tear? I had a race 987.2 that in 6 years never replaced any of that stuff. looking for experience shares.

Thanks

Yes it’s normal. We have seen as early as 1800miles for the toe links to show wear. Control arms are usually 5000 miles or so.

Yes it’s normal. The tie rod Heim joints are not available separately. The rears are. I ordered a complete set of rears and the joints separately and made a spare using a large caliper to get in the ball park.
