Andy was running low 1.29's while the rest of us were in the 1:30's. My best time was a 1:30.3 in the 2nd qualifier. Lots of good close racing and was a lot of fun. The Bartone cars (Andy's and student Antonio Bartone) had the side air intake. while not crazy hot it seemed like it may having given them a very slight edge. I think I waited a bit too long between alignments and mine was off. I had zero front tow and was able to Get one of the teams to string it and add 2 mm of toe to each side on the front. The helped me with the handling for sure.
