Default Air pressure sensors

I had some wheels made and bought the Huf RDE047V21 sensors. I was told to install them and they would work fine. So far no luck. Anybody have any experience here? Do they need to be programmed?

Thanks

I think you will need to program these to work but will ask my tire guy tomorrow.

Here is what I found out from my tire guy. The sensors need to be woken up, this is to take them out of the sleep mode during storage. After this your car should pick them up. To wake them up you will need a scan tool which a good tire shop has.

Default 981 TPMS Sensors

Based on vendor information, the Huf TPMS sensors for the 981 CS are RDE048V21. I'll have them in a few days and hope to verify they work shortly afterwards.

Sorry for the delay, but the Huf sensors RDE048V21 worked on the 981 CS. The car recognized them without any wakening.

I'll be doing this soon as well with new sensors and will advise if, out of the box, they are woke.
