Race headers eliminate the cats. More power, torque and ,most importantly less heat. Coilpacks will last much longer.

I've run the Cargraphic Long Tube Race Headers and Currently have the Dundon Long Tube Race Headers(on the 981)....honestly I can't tell a difference. Starting from where you are get the Cargraphic and save yourself 2k+.

The 718 is different than the 718 street GT4 so keep this in mind if you buy race headers.

I a have full FVD M&M race exhaust system (including catless headers) that came off a 981 Clubsport on my 981 street GT4. I love it. Even without a tune (coming in February), the transformation is incredible; especially in the midrange. I would give Rhonda at FVD a call to explore your options there.

One of my OEM cats cracked...So I bought some inexpensive Fabspeed headers...Stock remainder of the exhaust. Sounds much better but not too loud also...

same as zracer regarding the factory cats, so I replaced with Dundon's race headers on my 981. I had (still have, would sell for cheap) a very light, full race exhaust (was run in IMSA) which seems to be made of jiffy pop metal that I was told was too loud by many at the track, I did have to wear ear plugs! The full factory exhaust was too quiet. The race headers are perfect to my ears, as the car is quiet at idle, pleases my wife and the neighbors, but then sounds great at WOT on the track!

All comes down what series you race in and what they allow.
Cargraphic i hear are the go-to headers. Might as well stick in a tune while you are there.

Thanks TCS. I’m currently just doing time trials with POC. Not to do a hard pivot on the thread, but what are we hearing on the best tunes for the 718CS?

I have a used set of cargraphic long tubes that were Swain coated.

PM me if interested.

BGB put a tune together for the CS. Excellent results on their dyno.

In my 981 CS I plan to replace the stock headers before they crack. I'll probably install long tube catless headers. These headers have only one O2 bung. Will I get a check engine fault or is there no O2 sensor downstream of the stock cat?

Long tube Cargraphic headers have 2 bungs. The 981 CS has only a single O2 senser in each exhaust cat header. You will need a bung plug to close off the 2nd hole in Cargraphic headers.
