My guess is the all in price if buying directly from PMNA will be 260-275k. The import duties, shipping, spare packages, and sales tax add quite a bit to the base price.
Also, will be interesting to see how easy it will be to uncork the engine and get 500hp. With the forced induction gt4 cars like the AMG and the Audi a simple ECU flash can unrestricted the car. Given this one is naturally aspirated it won’t be that simple.

If $240 is the right base number you will be looking at every bit of $275k all in to pick one up at the PMNA warehouse stateside.
It may not be that hard to uncork it....I was told the car comes with BOP mapping and an air restrictor plate.

Best thing about this pricing is it will likely drive up the pricing on 981 and 718 CS.

The new cayman coming has more power which is really only needed inorder to run with those pesky detuned McLarens, Mercedes, Astons and BMWs of IMSA.

you can run gts-4. Can should be the go to car for GTS-4. I have already set one track record the first weekend out with it.

Very interesting, but I don’t understand why or how it would have a higher redline than the Cup but detuned to have significantly less power. That seems like a strange combo.

I bought one. So it exists. Should see it just before christmas.
Going IMSA GS racing with it.
I think the new 2022 GT4RS road car is used to homogulate this new race car. Hence bump in power etc.
Thus far since 2016, every 3 seasons a bigger and better GT4 cayman racer arrives.
Therefore this next cayman will see duty in IMSA for 2022, 2023 and 2024.
There is no mention of Porsche replacing this cayman racer in 2025 however. Could be the last?

NASA doesn't run the German Touring classes here in its Florida Region. But Clubsports fit in Super Touring 2, where they are pretty competitive. There are several CS's running in ST2 in other NASA regions around the country, too.
That next 450+hp version would likely be in ST1 with the Cups.

Good thing. I was worried they replaced the Cosworth dash with an Etch-A-Sketch and upholstered the dash in **** carpet.
I wonder if it is going to use any of electronics and switchgear from the 992 Cup?
