Default Air jack bottle question

This is a Manthey nitrogen bottle system for the CS - any idea on number of "strokes" one should get from a full bottle? There will not be a service facility at all the tracks/events I drive at.

You better check with your Nitrogen supplier before buying this setup. They may not refill this tank. Also check what the max pressure rating is for the tank as that can make a huge difference. I have a larger tank at home and use a transfill hose to charge the smaller weekend bottle. The only drawback here is you will never obtain a max filled smaller bottle.

Skip that system and just follow the guide here. You'll save on the low end at least a grand.......possibly 2.

+1 you definitely need to find a supplier who will fill your own tank. Airgas and Praxair will not. They only do exchanges. I bought a 60 cu ft from Evergreen and fill at a local place near me. They put like 2000 psi in it I believe. Also the link provided is very helpful in getting a set up, and as thuggo says- much cheaper than the Manthey one.

Why does it matter to you guys if you have your own bottle and fill it? I just exchange the bottles with AirGas and they bring them right to my house. They are pretty cheap to change out really.

I learned that after I bought mine, but also I bought an aluminum bottle and Airgas only has steel ones at 80 cu ft. They are heavier but do have more fills.

The Manthey bottle is 200bar, you Get at least 20 strokes from it, filled with compressed air.
I fill it on dive stores. The bottle have to be checked with a new control stamp every second year. (Europe)
