Initial cost for the PIWIS 3 was $13k, which includes the software annual license, periodic updates, and annual maintenance. I just renewed the license at a cost of $5.7k. If you don't keep the license in place, Porsche has the ability to reach out over the internet and inactivate the software.

If you are serious about maintaining your CS, and your shop does not have a PIWIS and you don't want to trailer your CS to a Porsche dealer for PIWIS help, then having your own PIWIS is a worthwhile purchase.

 

Can't See the gear fluid ages by time. Its just the milage and use that matters. Same fluid as in other porsches.
