Girodisc Rotors???
Girodisc...Anyone try / trying these? I know a few guys who use these on their GT3RS cars and like them. Wondering if there is an alternative to the PFC rotors...

I feel like these are more expensive than the PFC offering.

Seem superb (with Pagid RS 29), but only HPDE, and not a Clubsport!

I have same problem. I just went through first set of front Pfc rotors in 7 de track days. I realize they are consumables but this is crazy. The pads were still like new. Rear has also near new pads with moderate crack only about 1/2 inch long.
Barber, Indy, Daytona and one day at road Atlanta
Rings are 450 each and very easy to change.
I change to endurance pads about twice as thick to try to keep heat down and lead to less cracking. According to Pfc team info.
If anyone can confirm a more reliable option I’m game.

You've got to have something wrong. Maybe pistons are dragging? Missing cooling scoops? We've done ~25 hours of race time on a set of rotors and they still have plenty of life left.

I’ll have to get some pics but the cracks went clear across the surface of the rotor from middle to outside edge.
i’ll have to check the ducts to make sure they’re open but I can’t imagine that be plugged up it’s a new car.

VIR / Daytona / Sebring (8 days on them total - About 1000 miles)...I am sure they are not thin / worn that way...But there are cracks (that according to what I am reading) making them ready for replacement.

Yes same for me...All in place, etc. I can tell you I am using the brakes pretty hard...With ABS it's pretty easy to! LOL!
Places like Daytona probably don't help.

Sorry guys I didn’t know how to post the pic. This is the night before two days at Daytona when I called Pfc and ordered new front rings.
The cracks didn’t get much wider but by Sunday morning they reached the outer edge and I didn’t feel comfortable going to Sebring with them.
Maybe it’s ok to go inside to outside as long as they are not all the way through the thickness, but it never was before on any other track cars. Teach me.
