Default 981 CS Engine rebuild hours/miles?

Is there a rule of thumb for how many hours/miles these engines can go before a rebuild? Is the rebuild the preferable route, or is the factory replacement engine still preferable?

The Porsche Track guys were telling me they've dyno'd engines with 15k miles on them...and they had only gotten stronger. I think as long as you keep up on the maintenance on these 30k+ miles shouldn't be a problem.

From a WRL team that runs them a lot, they say PDK starts showing issues around 15K miles. The head of the GT4 clubsport development team for Porsche mentioned 981's in Europe with 60k km on them with the original engine! We had one that the driver cracked a side radiator and kept driving during a race. The water and oil were well over 300F. We changed the oil and ran the car next day in the 1.5 hr enduro. Dyno'd the car when we got back to the shop and it was only 5hp less than a 3K mile car. Crazy strong little cars.
