It's working! I can tell you what we did as it's not something proprietary like the airbox!

Sure

We are also looking at redirecting air from lower side intakes to deal with oil cooler and PDK temps.

Alright...talk me out of doing this to my 981 CS........I don't care about running PCA Racing and that sounds like the biggest problem series if I did run this. I doubt IGT/WRL/etc would be a problem. Seems like between wanting to run hard the entire day....and thinking about the longevity of the engine this is likely a wise road to go down. Besides....its going to be a min before I can score a RS CS......and at this point there's not enough of a difference of the 718 to my 981 to make that upgrade worth it.

Any thing you can do to get heat out of these cars is a big deal. The guys at ZF Germany tell me heat is the biggest issue with pdk failures.

Are you saying this might also help with the PDK failures? LOL.

Anything that reduces heat near engine and trans helps.

CS pdks last 10 -15 k miles if driven hard. Many teams replace before them before they break. ZF will now do a full rebuild and will tell you heat is the major culprit. They also recommend fresh oil and filter far more often than Porsche.

That for sure makes sense....and makes it a selling feature for the kit. I think rebuilds are going for around what 17k now?

Photos will be coming soon. Installing two kits now in the shop going in 4.2L cars going to the west coast. More information to follow.

Finally, to anyone that gave my kit praise and suggested it as an alternative, from someone who has owned a business for 20 years that gets tired of making the same things over and over and over again for people to copy and sell THANK YOU! A lot of time went into this kit, to the point that i will have to probably sell 50 to recoup any real benefits...but...if you wanna support a small business that has empirical data of why their kit that costs half as much is a great alternative, please don't hesitate to call, email. AJ is almost up to speed after a year but the Rennlist PMs don't get any love and for that i apologize.

Thank you.

Does your new kit fit the 981 clubsport?

Best regards

Yes. You just have to specify whether you want it for a 981 GT4 / 718 GT4 vs. a motor with an X51 manifold!

X51 is that the 82mm throttle body (997)?
Do you have a picture of it mounted on a clubsport?

The largest available throttle body on any Porsche is 82mm.

I actually do a couple things with the original intake parts to put some more fresh air in the engine bay to reduce the oil temperatures.
