Cayman GT4 Clubsport | Rebuilds needed ?
About to buy a 2016 Cayman GT4 Clubsport (the one with FT3 tank, air jacks and Recaro 1300 seat) with around 25.000 km track usage.
Engine and Gearbox are supposed to be in good working order.
Anybody heard of engine or gearbox issues after such long usage ? Apparently they are bulletproof and can last another 25.000 km (per Porsche's rebuild interval)
Curious if anybody has some experiences
Thanks in advance

we have seen issues arise on PDK around the 10,000 mile mark. Not all of them. But most of them. Motor keeps running like a champ. 25,000kms are the highest i have heard of thus far... so you are into unchartered territory...

Thanks TSC. Was hoping someone had done more mileage already.
In EU there are several cars with higher mileage. Only found out there was a recall on the gearbox at some point. 3rd gear issues 'apparently'

Hmm, I have not heard of a recall on the PDK here in the U.S. I have seen a few cars with 15,000 miles on the original engine and PDK but perhaps they were used more for DE events, etc.?
FWIW, I love my GT4 CS! Really fun car.
