I have an 84 944 Zermatt Silver that has been garaged, relatively low mileage so the factory paint is in excellent condition.

However there are several scratches and gouges in the paint I'd like to repair. I have successfully blended other light metallics (honda beige being one) but have heard horror stories about blending metallic silver. By the way I am not a professional painter, just a diy'er.

Any hope or should I just forgetabouit? I was thinking of getting a pint of Glasurit and testing on an inconspicuous area like under the bumper.
