Am I getting old?

When I was young I loved wrenching. Now days I often pay others to do it instead. I'm glad I can afford to pay and have a good job.
I used to love rebuilding engines myself and tearing into all sorts of things. I currently own two Corvettes and two p cars a 996 and 944.
I wanted to convert the 78 corvette to efi, and a 5 spd. I wanted to build a 951 once but am now leaning to an ls powered 944. I also always wanted to build a cobra kit but a 996 turbo is cheaper. I always wanted a v8 Miata too but Corvettes are cheaper and faster.
Now I travel a lot for work. I'm 4x, and I just want more time to drive hill country roads, take the wife on dates, go to wine tastings, etc.
So I find myself wanting to sell the 78 Vette (I'm no carb guy), sell the 944 (too slow and too much work to make better), and get a 986 boxster s and drive top down occasionally. Yes and pay to have my 996, ZR-1 and boxster serviced by reputable folks. Does this officially make me old or maybe just wise? Leaning towards waiting for an 04 S spyder actually.

I vote for wise. Enjoy the status you have earned, and use your "free" time wisely.
And you might indeed get older and/or retired. At that point you can pick up the wrenches again.
