16 valve heads are getting rare as hens teeth so the price was great just for the parts that could have been harvested. I would never have driven the car home. A trailer would have been the way to go as the belts could have broken and trashed his investment for sure.
There is no mention of him changing the belts before he sold it. Crazy gamble. Car looked pretty good by the time he cleaned it up.
