Flat Tire and Check Engine Light
I ran over a nail today in my '13 Cayenne S - It wasn't a very big deal (tire didnt go flat the nail is holding the pressure) a few minutes after my check engine light came on and a PSM failure happened. After turning the car off and back on the PSM was fine but my CEL is still on.
My first thought is that the nail may have caused some problems with my tire pressure sensors causing the CEL to come on. Is this possible or am I just trying to convince myself that I don't need to go to the dealership and spend money? If its caused by the tire ill just have it patched, no biggie. But if these two things are unrelated ill take it in.
Has anyone had this happen?
