Porsche was out of stock, so I ordered the AutoArt model.
It appears that the AutoArt and the Gates models are identical molds. The AutoArt has more detail - like a painted shifter, seatbelts and carpeting. If price sensitive, the Gates is pretty realistic however the AutoArt is definitely better detail. I'll post pictures...

this is the AutoArt interior...

This is the AutoArt exterior.
Note, those paint imperfections are not imperfections at all, just dust that got exaggerated in the flash.

These are 1/8 scale from everfel in france. They will custom prototype any car and I imagine they are quite expensive. here's the link I found via google search. This exact car is available...

Large detailed static model cars are cool, but they don't do much other than sit there. Here's a good alternative...1/8 or 1/10 gas/nitro powered radio controlled cars. They are fast, up to 60 mph and are mechanical wonders. Thinking about purchasing this car after an afternoon of researching gas rc cars...This one is 1/8 scale pretty big with 24" body length and 12" width.

I just heard back from Everfel regarding the model pictured below. It is a one of a kind painted piece. It is available for sale with lexan case for 2000 Euro's....Wow, now that's an expensive 1/10 scale model. Beautiful though...They will build any car you want, obviously for a price.
