Did the half-day, open wheel class this past Saturday. Rainy and overall miserable day at Pocono but an absolute hootenanny when on the track.
You take Roos' Volvo wagons around first, then strap into the 'Formula 2000's (http://www.racenow.com/img/a/a05_car_pic2.jpg). Talk about a short shift kit....
My second-to-last lap, the sun broke through and streamed down on us as we blasted around the bank and final straightaway...last lap, a fawn jumped the wall and gamboled across the track in front of me, onto the infield. Amazing....
I can't guarantee the natural fireworks I got to enjoy those last two laps, and experienced trackers may not find it as fulfilling as I, but I recommend the class nonetheless. Cost was $495 (wife's Christmas gift to me).

Sounds like fun!
I was wondering whether this driving school was worth the cost. Hubby and I are thinking of doing one of these together one of these years.
