Porsche changed its configurator and eliminated the 3D feature that was very helpful to me when I configured my 2015 991 TTS in last April. It allowed you to view the interior and exterior in daylight or at night and from different angels/perspectives and distances, which was very helpful when trying to decide on options. Since Porsche wants us to load the options it is surprising that it made it harder to actually see what they look like on the car before laying out $100k to $200k to find out. The new version of the configurator has very limited views of one's choices when building a car. Just tried a GT3 and the view was not consistent with my build options, so what is the point of the new version?

The 3D feature is still there, its called "360" now.
