I know .. I'll put it on my list of 'to-do' It's getting a little full! I did manage to make it out to mosport with a small group this summer to test out the car. That was a great day. I'm still trying to fit a Porsche club fun-run into my schedule. I just can't seem to do it.

Hi guys - another Torontonian.

Check out the Rennlist "Canada" forum - we've been discussing the "local" shops issue recently and started a spread sheet even. Love to have everyone's input.

As for 964 shopping - just did that for 6 months - happy to answer any questions and know of at least TWO in T.O. that could be good deals.

As for shops in the GTA - I've always used Auto Select up in Newmarket - Franz is brilliant - actually does the work and knows the water pumpers like nobody's business.

Adie - I'm just north of you - Warden and St Clair - love to get together - and perhaps you'd like to help solve some of 50 odd fix-it items on my newly acquired S2?!? Drop me a pm.

Do Toronto 944 types ever gather?

Damn that's close, unfortunatly I'm awaiting my G2 test thingy to change to a Ontario license so my new 944 is sitting on my drive, Nov 15th I'm taking it so should be able to pull it out of the drive on the 16th. not seen many 944 P cars in the area, a red shiney one and a dull black one, a 24 awaiting some work on on Kingston and thats about it. I'd love to have a play with someone else's car if your having problems, that is untill I find a suitable replacement for mine and end up being kicked out of the 'I'm using only original fitment tyre squad and only Porsche approved brake pads'. Looking for a cheap place to find a suitable 350 LT1 to plop in the hole. If I decide to stay here I'll be bringing my race car over and I guess I'll be tearing around in my 24 Carrera but I'm told the Nos is going to have to go. I'll PM you back with my e-mail as it has changed now. Still can't believe there arn't many more Ca. owners on this board.

hello rally guy!

so what do you know about 964s during your searches? And what of the two good deals around GTA? I've been test driving a number of 964s and 3.2s. My wife doesn't like the 3.2's dated interior look however. Alot of the 964s were questionable in terms of conditions. However there's one I just test drove that was very nice indeed. I'm looking for a porshce specialist in the mississauga area.
thanks
