I am looking for a car seat for a 3 yr old toddler that will fit in the backseat of my 2007 Carrera S. Does anyone know of any brand that works besides the Porsche brand? Trying not to spend $600, which is the Porsche brand cost, if possible.

harmony car seat from Walmart for like $15 fits perfectly.

That harmony is a booster seat.

I'm using a Recaro Vivo in my 997.2, which is a full seat w/ back. It was around $90 from Amazon.

I am not going to tell anyone what to do, but I've looked into this and the correct way to install a car seat in a, say, 997 is in the front seat, rear facing. Then, you have to buy a bypass to the front right hand side airbag at the dealership, and have them install for you. Having said that, many brands will fit in the back of a 997 or 991 (I have a friend with two car seats in the back of a 991), but I will wait until my children are old enough to ride in the back with a booster seat.
